The Market Appraisal is a fancy Estate Agent's term, which basically means inviting us round to have a look at your home and tell you how much we believe we could sell it for.

In practical terms this means that once we arrive, you put the kettle on and we sit down and show you all sorts of information about comparable properties (in other words the other properties being sold - your not-so-friendly competition!) and the recent performance of the housing market.
We will then take you through the pricing techniques, and tell you what we would recommend as an asking price for your property, as well as how much you could expect to achieve.
Of course, you also have the opportunity to ask us questions about your home and how we can sell it. We will also be able to give you, there and then, a printed copy of the property details to show you how they would look to a potential buyer, and let you see the layout of our web site and newspaper adverts on our snazzy little laptops - so there are no surprises when the advert is placed!
All in all, it's a cuppa and an informed chat, providing the kettle has boiled, of course...
