Paul, a Bradford man himself, started his Estate Agency career in North London, and was the key behind developing the Melvin Elgie concept - Property Sales with the CLIENT and CUSTOMER as the most important roles. It is surprising how many times estate agents mistakenly believe THEY are more important than their buyers and sellers!

Alongside Chris Mapp, he developed the computer technology which can be used to ensure that our clients have access to all the information they require as and when they need it, reducing stress at what can be a very stressful time and ensuring we get back to you when we say we will.
Paul made the decision to locate the business in his home town in order to get closer to his extended family, and to ensure that the first people to reap the benefits of his system are those in Bradford and Yorkshire - the county which has remained his spiritual home throughout his years away! |

Chris was key in developing Paul's original concept from an idea into a working model. With all companies in these modern times, a knowledge of computers and how they can be applied to every-day jobs is important. Working closely with Paul over a total of around seven years, Chris has been able to ensure that the customer service role of the estate agent has been perfectly captured within the system.

With a background in technology and marketing, Chris brings a wide range of diverse skills to the Melvin Elgie team, and his knowledge provides the framework of the Melvin Elgie Model, allowing our friendly and capable staff to deliver the service our clients have come to expect!
Chris has recently moved to Bradford and is enjoying the many things that Yorkshire has to offer! |
